On the morning of Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 4:21 am., Seneca Hose, Winchester, and Reserve Fire Districts were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire on Brookside Drive near Dorrance Avenue.
Seneca Hose Second Assistant Chief 9-2 arrived on scene and found a two-story residential structure with heavy fire showing from the first floor and threatening an exposure on Side 4 of the building.
Seneca Hose Engine 2 arrived and deployed a 2½-inch and 1¾-inch attack lines to begin fire suppression operations. Seneca Hose Ladder 6 arrived shortly thereafter and was assigned to search the exposure building for occupants and any extension of fire.
Mutual aid companies, including Reserve Ladder 6, East Seneca Engine 1, and Newton Abbott Rescue 3 (F.A.S.T.), arrived and assisted with fireground operations. Due to the severity of the fire conditions, additional resources were requested by Command.
As a result of significant fire damage and a subsequent structural collapse involving the primary fire building, the West Seneca Building Inspector ordered an emergency demolition of the structure.

The fire is currently under investigation by West West Seneca Police Department Fire Investigators. No other information is available at this time.
