| Ladder 6 was requested on the second alarm mutual aid to Vigilant Fire Company for a fire in an attached garage. Upon arrival, units found heavy fire conditions in the garage of an occupied residence, with the flames spreading to a neighboring house.
Ladder 6 responded to the scene and divided its personnel into two teams. The interior crew entered the primary fire building to conduct a search and began opening up the interior space. Simultaneously, the roof crew performed vertical ventilation on the roof to help improve conditions inside the structure.
Ladder 6 operated on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning in service.
