| Crews set up Ladder 6 to allow students to cool down.
Wednesday night drill took members into our technical rescue discipline working on fundamentals of setting up our monopod system to create an elevated high point. This was complimented with review of some of our rope systems and establishing mechanical advantage.
Friday wrapped up with two of our members completing their NYS Firefighter 1. Both members spent that last two weeks completing hose line advancements, initial company response, building and auto fires. Both members will now work to build their skill sets and work to obtain interior status.  |
