| Shortly before 3 a.m., Seneca Hose Chief 9 and Rescue 5 responded to a rollover accident on Seneca Street, located near the Rt 90 overpass.
Responding units arrived to find all vehicle occupants safely out of the vehicles. A NYSEG utility pole had been broken off at its base and was being supported by the primary power lines. The Thruway Authority was notified because of low-hanging wires over Rt 90.
Seneca Street has been reopened, but traffic may be affected later today due to ongoing utility pole repairs. |
