Vehicle Accident with Extrication and Rope Rescue
April 17
For the second time in less than a week, members from Seneca Hose were called to Ridge and the 219 For a vehicle rollover. Crews with assistance from Reserve Volunteer Fire Co stabilized the vehicle, extricated the patient and utilized a rope rescue system to bring the patient up to Ridge Road to an awaiting AMR ambulance. Vehicle Accident with Rope Rescue

Seneca Hose Chiefs 9, 9-1, and Rescue 5 responded just after midnight to the reported vehicle accident with injuries at the 219 at Ridge Rd.

Ladder 6 takes House Fire with Union
1st Assistant Chief Dylan Seufert, February 17
Seneca Hose Ladder 6 was requested mutual aid to Union for the residential structure fire. Seneca Hose 9 arrived on scene, established command, and reported fire in the 2-3 corner of a single story residence.

- FF/EMT Steve Kuciel. Steve is a former member who rejoined as a Duty Shift Member after he left the Town of West Seneca and was forced to resign from Seneca Hose prior to our Duty Shift Program being instituted. We are happy to have Steve back where he started his career as a Firefighter!

Fast Defibrillation and CPR: A Lifesaver!

Recently, Seneca Hose and Winchester were alerted to an unresponsive individual at a local fitness facility. Seneca Hose firefighters were preparing to begin a Duty Shift and were on scene, rendering patient care, within 3 minutes of the call being received by West Seneca Dispatchers.
